I started my Personal Training career in 2020
and my fitness/personal development journey in 2016.
I'm 30 years old, married to my beautiful wife Stephanie,
and we have a wonderful 4 year old girl.
In the last 8 years I've gone from a scrawny kid who had never cared to lift weights, to the proud owner of a Personal Training business.
That journey came about after I made a
DECISION that I was meant to do great things in this life, and that I wasn't going to let ANYTHING stop me.
I DECIDED I was going to make myself 1% better every day until I no longer recognized my old self in the mirror.
And it worked.
8 years later I am the man I envisioned I could be some day.
I became the business owner I always knew I wanted to be,
and I can look in the mirror with pride I once didn't have.
But most importantly, I've been helping others
accomplish these things as well.
I've discovered many things throughout this journey, but the one thing that has stood out the most, is belief.
You can and will only accomplish as much
as you BELIEVE you can.
“Whether you think you can,
or you think you can't—you're right."
-Henry Ford
Fitness and personal development have become not only just a hobby,
interest, or career choice, but also my true passion.
I spend my spare time looking up new exercises, reading about the human body,
and discovering new ways to train my body and my mind.
This isn't just a job for me, it's my whole world, and I'm honored to be able to say that
I love what I do.
I enjoy going to work everyday.
I believe that one of the healthiest things you can do for yourself is
to find a career that doesn't feel like work. When you love what you do,
It truly changes your perception on life.
Empathy is at the heart of my approach to personal training.
I believe that truly understanding my clients’ experiences and emotions allows me to
connect with them on a deeper level, fostering trust and motivation.
I've walked a similar path to many of my clients, facing challenges such as
shyness, social anxiety, depression, and poor nutrition.
These experiences have given me a unique perspective and a genuine ability
to relate to my clients' struggles and triumphs.
Empathy enables me to listen actively and communicate effectively,
ensuring that each client's needs and concerns are heard and addressed.
This compassionate approach helps me to tailor customized training plans that not only focus on physical fitness but also consider the mental/emotional well-being of my clients.
In essence, my empathy transforms sessions into a supportive and positive experience, making personal growth and transformation an achievable and rewarding journey for every client.
Recent science shows us that looking at one area of the human body in isolation is sort of silly.
The human body is a complex, interconnected system where each part influences the whole.
My holistic approach to personal training and health and wellness emphasizes this interconnectedness, ensuring that every aspect of your well-being is addressed.
I help my clients address the body as a whole and learn how, by being mindful of their movement patterns in day-to-day tasks, they can affect and potentially reduce their daily aches and pains.
I also encourage my clients to become mindful of their breath, and how it can influence their muscular system as well as their mental/emotional state.
In essence, my holistic approach empowers you to understand and optimize your entire being. By addressing physical, emotional, and mental well-being, you can achieve a state of balance and vitality that supports long-term health and wellness.
